PARTAP FORGE SS is a low heat input electrode for build-up of dies made of tool steels & H type steel ( H11, H12, H13 ) The weld deposits resists to impact & thermal shocks & increase the service life. Deposits are hard, tough & has excellent properties to resistance repetitive impact. To avoid cracking, preheating upto 4000 & slow cooling is recommended.

Applications : Build-up of all types of die impressions & working dies, heavy duty hot shears.

Hardness: 46-48 HRC
